Josh Bayliss has been CEO of the Virgin Group since 2011. He is responsible for the Group’s strategic development and licensing of the Virgin brand globally, and the management of direct investments on behalf of the Branson family in various branded and unbranded companies around the world. Under Josh’s leadership the Group has extended its branded investments into the Hotels and Cruise industries, and its non-branded investment portfolio into technology, renewable energy and space-related businesses. Josh was born in New Zealand and holds both NZ and British citizenship. He is married with two children. His interests include cycling, skiing, wine and reading.
